IATA W22 season

COHOR reminds the specific measures that are in place for the coordination process of IATA W22 season :

Use it or lost it threshold

The European Commission, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament did not amend yet the Council Regulation (EEC) No 95/93 (EU Slot Regulation) to set the threshold for W22.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be sent at least 3 weeks before the day of operation.

Slot cancellations under JNUS need SI remark mentioning “FORCE MAJEURE PER COHOR REFERENCE” and must be sent separately from other cancellations.

Double dip

The suspension by COHOR of the double dip (WASG edition 2 article 8.7.2) will continue during IATA season W22.

Cancellations sent before the HBD that lead to non recognizable series of slots (less than 5 consecutive weeks) will not be able to pretend to an historic right

The use it calculation will be performed independantly for every recognizable series of slots, ie cancellations result in a gap in a series of slots, the calculation will be made independantly for the two resulting series.

COHOR ask airlines to send after HBD changes that may lead in the split of series, especially changes of flight numbers, aircraft types and number of seats.
