Paris Orly airport (ORY)

Located at 10 kms in the South of Paris, Paris Orly Airport has 3 operational runways and 2 terminals : West and South. Night Curfew on this airport from 23h20 à 05h59 Local Time.

On March 19 2019, a new terminal building will open at Orly Airport In Paris. A new building will connect the current terminals Orly South and Orly West. As a result, the terminals will be re-designated as follows:

• Orly-Ouest will be renamed as Orly 1 and Orly 2
• New section will be named Orly 3 
• Orly Sud will be renamed as Orly 4

Traffic to be coordinated :

All types of operations. Only Slots for scheduled traffic are coordinated from the Scheduling Conference until the slot return deadline (15 January for the Summer season and 15 August for the Winter season).

SCR’s sent by email must be plain text and not contain any logos and/or signatures!

Clearance requests will be processed during COHOR’s office hours.
Outside normal office hours ( evenings, weekends, public holidays) please consult e-Airportslots

All modifications to initial slot details must be notified to the coordinator.

When applicable, the coordinator must be informed of any joint operation/franchise/code sharing agreements prior to the beginning of such operations.

Orly Quota:

Regarding your operations at ORY Airport, COHOR proposes an access to the airlines through our Extranet Website, www.slotix.net in order to check:
– Authorized quota
– Authorized quota + flexibility (This flexibility is not an addition to the authorized quota but only a flexibility that can be used temporarily when operational issues happen. The scheduling department must adjust its schedules to respect its autorized quota in the next 7 days. If this rule is not respected, COHOR may suspend the flexibility feature for the concerned airline)
– The usage of its quota (number of allocated slots) and know specifically the usage of the flexibility
– Public Service Obligation (PSO) authorized quota per destination (only for airlines using such PSO slots)
– The usage of its Public Service Obligation (PSO) authorized quota per destination (only for airlines using such PSO slots)
– New Entrant (NEE+HEE) authorized quota per destination (only for airlines using such new entrant slots)
– The usage of its Public Service Obligation (PSO) authorized quota per destination (only for airlines using such new entrant slots)
and download under CSV format the details of its allocated slots.

Airport constraints

The airport capacity is set by the French Civil Aviation Authorities (DGAC) and the coordination parameters are published in the French Journal Officiel.

Decree of October 06th, 1994 setting the maximum number of slots that can be allocated in Orly airport

Slot definition :

A slot is defined as a 10 minutes period. There are 6 slots in the hour, from the hour to 9 mn after, from 10 to 19 mn after the hour, from 20 to 29 mn after the hour, from 30 to 39 mn after the hour, from 40 to 49 mn after the hour, and from 50 to 59 mn after the hour. For example, scheduled times of 06:00 and 06:05 both belong to the same 10 minute slot.

ACNUSA (Autorité de Contrôle des Nuisances Sonores Aéroportuaires) is the authority legally entitled to impose an administrative fine (between 1.500 and 12.000 €) against any infringement of legal measures relative to noise in the air transport.
