Parameters related to terminal capacity :
- Departure :
For any departure of a commercial aviation aircraft, COHOR recommends departure times taking into account the processing capacity of the boarding lounges. To do this, the facilitator assesses the impact of each schedule recommendation against this capacity on the basis of the planned aircraft, a load factor of 85% and the following maximum numbers of passengers:
- 750 passengers per 20-minute rolling period in 10-minute paths
- 1800 passengers per 60-minute rolling period in 10-minute paths
These maximum numbers are the result of the capacity study which took into account the passenger presentation curves over time. For the purposes of the parameters, it is assumed that all passengers on a flight show up on the departure time.
- Arrival
For any arrival of a commercial aviation aircraft between 2100-2359 Local Time, COHOR recommends arrival times taking into account the processing capacity of the baggage reclaim area. To do this, the facilitator assesses the impact of each schedule recommendation against this capacity on the basis of the planned seat capacity, a load factor of 85% and the following maximum numbers of passengers:
